Having fun and being entertained is an essential part of any LARP. If you and the other players aren’t having a decent time, the LARP isn’t going to be as enjoyable. One thing that easily destroys the immersive gaming atmosphere as well as the general tone of the game is bad sportsmanship.

Non-Combat LARPing: The Winterdark Ball

Most people automatically think of “combat” when they think of LARPing, whether they tend more towards pure-fight Wargames or more Role-Playing oriented games like Seventh Kingdom or Knight Realms. What would a LARP be without combat of some sort at least being available?A Renaissance Fair? Just something even dorkier than normal LARPing (lets call a spade a spade guys :-P )? How about just a great experience for some in-game gabbing and playing around?
