Few weeks ago I started an experiment to design a sword by using your help. We proposed a simple poll about the next color for the Draken.  Since it was so successful, I’d like to try it again.

I would like you to choose between two blades: The Diamond v.s. Double Fuller.

Diamond Blade

The diamond has been our regular blade for awhile now.  We call it the diamond simply because of the shape of the tip which looks like a diamond.  You may have noticed most of our sword have this tip.  This blade was specifically designed to be safe and to resit to tuck tip.  The diamond has a classic look and that’s what makes Calimacils swords very unique.

Double Fuller Blade

This is our new blade.  The name came from the shape which is a double fuller.  The idea of the double fuller came from many comments we have about the look of our blade.  I decided to work on a new blade design by adding more of an edge and to narrow the tip which gives it a totally new shape.  The result is a new blade, one that is more sharp but with the same level of security.

I need to know which blade we should use.

I don’t know if it’s because of the holidays season coming but we have a debate at the Calimacil workshop: what should be the color of the Draken ?

This is a serious philosophical question and we are not able to agree on it. So we decide to ask to the experts: YOU!
